In Malaysia, we do not have a lot of ChargEV station or so call powerstation to charge your EV. However to charge via a home socket takes a lot of time to get full battery. So the best way to choose an EV despite of price will be the range.
After you've considered which model you want to purchase, next step will be each time when you plan for going outstation, you have to plan your trip before you bring your EV along like ChargEV station, Hotel Car Park with socket. And if you may install a wall mount charger to reduce your EV charging duration.
At the moment in Malaysia, EV under low tax scheme will be either BMW i3 or Nissan Leaf+ (to be launching soon). Both Range is not as high as 300km above but is capable for city usage.
