UK 2020 New Car Release Date

Volvo Polestar 1 : Release this month of May 2020 with limited only 1500 units (Left Hand Drive) with the price of £139,990. The Polestar 1 is a 2-door hybrid sports car created by Volvo Cars, and is the first EV produced by the company since becoming an independent car manufacturer in June 2017. Based on Volvo's Concept Coupé from 2013, the Polestar 1 is built on the Volvo Scalable Product Architecture platform and is powered by a hybrid powertrain, using a front-mounted engine and two electric motors at the rear. A limited production run has been capped to three years with a total of 1,500 units to be produced for the left-hand drive market only.

Aston Martin Valkyrie is a limited production hybrid sports car collaboratively built by British automobile manufacturer Aston Martin, Red Bull Racing and several other manufacturers. The sports car is a product of collaboration between Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing to develop a track-oriented car entirely usable and enjoyable as a road car. The car's makers claim the title of fastest street-legal car in the world for it.

BMW M8 is the high performance version of the BMW 8 Series (G15) marketed under the BMW M sub-brand. BMW M8 is a 8 Series variant will have 616bhp from a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 in which 0-62mph time of just 3.2sec according to autocar. Yet it is a luxury four-seat, leather-lined cruiser, with four-wheel drive to help transfer all that power to the road.

Honda E, The e features an electric motor at the rear, offering a power output of either 100 or 113 kW (134 or 152 hp; 136 or 154 PS); both variants offer 315 N⋅m (232 lb⋅ft) of torque. According to Honda testing, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 8.3 seconds. The e will offer a 'Sport Mode' to sharpen the acceleration response, and can be driven in 'Single Pedal Control' mode, where releasing the accelerator will engage the regenerative braking system, slowing the car without using a separate brake pedal. A 35.5kWh lithium-ion battery pack is claimed to offer a range at around 220 km (137 mi) as per Honda internal data. The e is equipped with a CCS Combo 2 connector, enabling both AC charging and DC fast charging. With DC fast charging, the car can be charged to 80% capacity in 30 minutes. £30,500 price, anyone?

Aston Martin DBX, the DBX is the firm’s first SUV. The DBX should become the brand’s best-selling model, with a target of 10,000 sales per year by 2021. The five-seat, powered by a 542bhp 4.0-litre turbo V8, price as at £158,000. Other powertrains, including a plug-in hybrid, are expected further down the line.


Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 is the first hybrid in its company comes together with the magical V12 as part of it. Officially named FKP 37 in honour of late Volkswagen Group boss Ferdinand Piëch, the limited-run hypercar packs 774bhp from an uprated version of the firm’s 12-pot goliath, add on a low-output 48V electric motor for a total of 808bhp.

Lotus Evija is a limited production electric sports car to be manufactured by British automobile manufacturer Lotus. It is the first electric vehicle to be introduced and manufactured by the company. Code named "Type 130" because production of the Evija will be limited to 130 units. So, what are you waiting for?

Mercedes-AMG GT 73 is a Plug-in Hybrid. This model using the same twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine but match it with an electric motor on the front axle, resulting in four-wheel drive and a 0-62mph time below 3.0sec.

Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk8, the GTI comes with 242bhp as a standard, with a GTI Clubsport promising 287bhp from the EA888 2.0-litre petrol engine. Styling is likely to be subtle but will still set the GTI apart from the regular Golf with dual-exit exhaust pipes, red brake calipers, larger air intakes and a more aggressive bodykit.

McLaren 765LT, the 765LT is the successor to the 675LT as a Super Series Longtail car. The M840T engine has been tuned to provide 765 PS (563 kW; 755 hp) at 7,500 rpm and 590 lb⋅ft (800 N⋅m) at 5,500 rpm with a higher-capacity fuel pump, forged aluminium pistons and a three-layer head gasket from the Senna. The top speed is lowered from the 720S's 341 km/h (212 mph) to 330 km/h (205 mph) due to added drag created by the added high downforce parts, although the 765LT weighs 80 kg (176 lb) less than the 720S at 1339 kg (2952 lb) in its lightest configuration and has a quicker 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) time of 2.7 seconds.

Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA and GTAm as the most powerful car ever created by its company to date. The Giulia GTA gets 533bhp - up from 503bhp - out of Alfa's Ferrari-derived twin-turbocharged 2.9-litre V6, thanks to calibration tweaks and an Akraprovič exhaust. It was also 100kg lighter and gets some wild styling additions. The GTAm, meanwhile, gets harnessed carbon fibre front seats and ditches its rears, while adding a massive rear wing.
